SHIP
OPERATOR.
The MV Koenigstein
is operated by Flubschiffahrtsgesellschaft. The owners are represented by
Peter Deilmann-Reederei GmbH
& Co. KG, Neustadt in Holstein, Germany. RESERVATIONS. Contact Premier Vacations LLC at 877 215 3941. Your entire trip can be booked with just one phone call or by completing the form above. Bookings will be accepted solely subject to the terms of the Owner’s Passage Contract. PERSONAL
FUNDS. Check, Visa, Master
Card, Diner’s and American Express are accepted for most on-board
expenses. For passengers who prefer to carry travelers’ checks, these
can be cashed on-board. On-board currency is the Euro. Limited amounts of
exchange will be available on-board. PHYSICALLY
DISABLED PASSENGERS.
Physical
disabilities must be reported. The MV Koenigstein is not handicapped or
wheelchair accessible. The Owner reserves the right, to the extent
permitted by law, to refuse passage or participation in shore excursions
to disabled passengers whose state of health or physical condition may
preclude safe travel. CHANGE
IN ITINERARIES.
Peter
Deilmann-Reederei reserves the right to cancel any cruise for any cause
and to change the itinerary whenever conditions, in the opinion of the
Master of the Ship, render it advisable or necessary. Peter
Deilmann-Reederei will not be responsible for any loss or expense caused
by reason of such changes, and may withdraw the cruise before sailing
date, in which case the amount paid by the passengers will be refunded. DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION
BY PASSENGERS.
A deposit of $500
per person is required to secure a confirmed reservation. The final
balance is due not later than 45 days prior to sailing. A full refund less
a $50 per person handling charge will be made on all cancellations
received in writing up to 90 days prior to departure. All cancellations
must be in writing. The following cancellation charges will be assessed
for all written cancellations received prior to sailing up to the
scheduled time of departure: ADVANCED,
CANCELED OR DELAYED SAILING.
In the event of a
full ship charter, strikes, lockouts, riots or stoppage of labor from
whatever cause or for any other reason whatsoever, the Owner may at any
time cancel, advance or postpone any scheduled sailing and may, but is not
obliged to, substitute another vessel and shall not be liable for any loss
whatsoever to passengers by reason of any such cancellation, advancement
or postponement, except as otherwise provided in the Owner’s Passage
Contract. AIR/SEA
PROGRAM.
Airfare is not
included in the cruise rates. Call Premier Vacations LLC at 410 889 6200 for air
and train reservations. Of course, you are free to contact your personal
travel agent explore any other possibilities, including ticket on miles. RESPONSIBILITY.
The owners and their
ground agents will not be responsible for any loss, Injury or damage to
person, property or otherwise in conjunction with any accommodation,
transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from
acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, river, fire, breakdown in
machinery or equipment or from any causes beyond the companies’ control,
or for any loss or damage resulting from improper or insufficient
passports, and the companies will not be liable or responsible for any
additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred purchase as a
result of the forgoing clauses. ITINERARIES,
PRICES AND INCREASES.
Itineraries are
subject to change and may need to be altered or canceled specifically
because of water levels or wind factors. Prices shown in our brochure are
subject to change with or without notice. TRAVEL
DOCUMENTS/VISAS. All passengers must
have passports valid for six months following disembarkation and all
necessary visas when boarding. Passengers are advised to check with the
consular service of their country of citizenship to determine which
documents they must obtain. Premier Vacactions LLC and Peter Deilmann
EuropAmerica Cruises accepts no responsibility for obtaining required
visas nor for advising passengers of visa or other immigration
requirements. Passengers without proper documents may be denied boarding.
Due to increased security, your passport name must match all your travel
documents. TRAVEL
INSURANCE.
Sometimes it
happens—an emergency at home or a sickness causes people to cancel their
vacation or interrupt their Trip. Because these unfortunate events can
occur, we suggest that you contract a travel protection plan or a
cancellation insurance offered by many different insurance companies.
These policies can covers your vacation investment, your belongings and,
most importantly, you. CHILDREN/MINORS
.
Due to the nature of
our cruise itineraries, Peter Deilmann Cruises does not maintain
facilities or services for children aboard River Cruise Vessels. On all
cruises, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and share a cabin
with a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult. NO
SMOKING POLICY.
For the convenience
of all our passengers, Peter Deilmann Cruises has expanded the no-smoking
restrictions on its European river fleet to include all areas inside the
vessels without exception. Smoking will only be permitted on the open
decks. |
